Our History
Dizzy Whizz Restaurant is a family-owned company that has been in business since the late 1940s. Many years of great taste and great service has set the stage for where we are today. In the early 1950s, the founder of Dizzy Whizz introduced Dizzy Whizz’s now-famous specialty the “Whizzburger” a double-decker hamburger with our secret special sauce. With ten counter seats and parking spaces for 40 cars, the novel concept of selling double-decker hamburgers through drive-in curb service caught on quickly.
Today, Dizzy Whizz Restaurant is arguable the best well-known restaurant in the city of Louisville. The staff of 22 employees, whose work experience at Dizzy Whizz totals more than 300 years, are committed to providing great taste with great service.

Here at Dizzy Whizz, we are proud to say that we have the only true curb service in Louisville, Kentucky. When you drive up to our curb service, you don’t talk into a speaker to place your order. Our curb service girl comes to you to take your order and brings your order to you piping hot. When you really want convenience, simply call in your order ahead of time at (502) 583-3663 (FOOD), then pull up to our curb service and have the curb girl bring your food to you.
